Workshop 1 - Insects as the future of food proteins
You are invited to the first online workshop and it will showcase European and Asian technologies with focus insects and the aim is to exchange information and stimulate innovative collaborations.
Insects have a huge potential when it comes to the valorization of sources that are not suitable for feed/ food production, like manure and biowaste streams. Companies are collaborating to scale and extend the market for insects for food, which we will show during this session.
At the workshop you will learn about edible insect products for human consumption and about insects and valorisation of by-products.
