Downstream processing steps in biomanufacturing accounts for up to the 60-70% of the total cost of the process. To make biosolutions more cost-competitive, DSP optimisation is key.

At our DSP roundtable meetings we zoom in on the latest in DSP technology.

At this meeting we will be visiting the biotech company Aquaporin - specialists in developing water purification membranes and technologies inspired by the natural water channels found in biological systems, particularly aquaporins. Their focus is on creating sustainable solutions for water purification and desalination processes in various industries, including water treatment, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and food production (and even in the international space station).

DRAFT AGENDA

12.00 – 12.30 Registration, lunch and networking

12.30 – 12.45 Welcome and introduction to Aquaporin, Matt Boczkowski, CEO of Aquaporin A/S

12.45 – 13.00 Agenda and purpose of the day, Heidi Høy, Innovation Manager, Food & Bio Cluster Denmark

About roundtables

During the roundtable meetings, there will be ample opportunity to exchange knowledge, gain inspiration and find new partners. The roundtables are preliminary meetings where we gauge the interest for a networking group with regular meetings. The group of participants help set the agenda and framework.

Innovationskraft
When you participate in this event, your time will be used as co-financing for the Innovationskraft project, which is funded by the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science at the standard rate. Read more about Innovationskraft.
