Biogas and biomethane visit to Poland
Together with the Trade Council in Warsaw, Food & Bio Cluster Denmark will be organizing a strong Danish presence at the most important biomethane conference in Poland, the 7th Biomethane Congress taking place in Poznan from 21-22nd of May.
Join the delegation visit and meet key stakeholders from the rapidly growing Polish biogas sector: Investors, biogas plant owners, technology providers and integrators, feedstock owners and different parts of the public sector in Poland.
Why Poland, why now?
Although Poland has been a European agriculture powerhouse for decades, and the biogas potential from a feedstock perspective has been huge for many years, the Polish biogas market have not taken of due to red tape and low energy prices.
Now, the tide is turning. Key regulations and goals are in place and the industry sees a new dawn. It is estimated that biomethane will account for 10% of Poland’s national transmission and distribution content before 2030, with projections of increasing the content to 20% in next 20-30 years. This means 800 new biogas plants within the next six years.
