Get to know the Brazilian Biogas sector and the newest Tropicalization Program

The Trade Council, in partnership with GEF Biogás Brasil, is pleased to invite you to the Biogas Webinar: a digital event aimed to provide a scope on the Brazilian Biogas scene and present the newest Tropicalization Program promoted by UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organisation).

What is the Tropicalization Program?

This program was developed by GEF Biogás in partnership with UNIDO, it aims to nationalize (tropicalize) technological solutions or business models that solve one or more of the 06 challenges identified by CI Biogas and UNIDO in the Brazilian market, these are: 

1. Cost reduction and integrated solutions for Biomethane and CO2 Production
2.Solutions for digestate valorization
3. Cost reduction and automation plug and play in peripheral equipment
4. Cost reduction in electrical utilization and large-scale power generators
5. Solutions for compressed biogas storage and transportation
6. Solutions for biogas upgrade

This program will be developed through cooperation between Brazilian and foreign companies. The program will select 8 (eight) Concept Notes (CN) for the Tropicalization Program and those will receive up to 280 hours of specialised technical support.
