Seminar- Biogas in India: Cooperation and market opportunties for Danish biogas companies

The seminar is an opportunity for Danish biogas companies and R&D institutions to:

  • Get introduced to market opportunities and drivers for biogas in India incl. concrete business and investment project case in Bengaluru Municipality, India
  • Meet with decision maker from Mahindra Waste to Energy Solutions - the renewable energy project develop arm of the 150 Billion DKK global conglomerate Mahindra Group. Mahindra is searching for solutions within pre-treatment of biomass, reactor and plant design, process optimization and gas conditioning
  • Receive advice from consultants from Innovation Centre Denmark in India on how to work together with Indian partners and how they and Biogas Go Global can help you get started through network, activities and funding.

About the Indian speakers:

  • Shantanu P. Gotmare is an India Country Representative based in New Delhi, India. Shantanu is responsible for implementation and development of Global Green Growth Institute program in India and is responsible for the business case report and investment plan for commercialisation of biogas production from wholesale fruits and vegetable market waste in Bengaluru municipality
  • G.P.Subash is Head of heading biogas Business and Projects in Mahindra waste to Energy Solutions Ltd – a subsidiary of the conglomerate Mahindra Group. Prior to his current role, he was handling Research & Development projects related to alternate fuels in Mahindra Research Valley. He has more than 20 years of R&D experience in alternate fuels. He has to his credit more than 20 international and national publications in the area of alternative fuels & IC engines
  • Mrs. Twinkle Jawrani is Innovation Advisor at the Danish Innovation Center in India actively working to connect Danish and Indian partners within bioenergy. Mr. Jawrani got 5.5 years of experience in Danish-Indian cooperation and is highly involve in the making of the deepstick study in biogas.
