The main activity is company visits organized once a month and the on April 4th we visit Viking Genetics in Randers and Arla Innovation Centre in Aarhus.
The goal for VikingGenetics is to provide dairy farmers around the world with genetics that provide a balance between production and health, to ensure a successful future for the dairy business. That means "breeding for what truly matters", a healthy, high-producing cow, the invisible cow that makes daily life as a dairy producer as easy as possible. Nordic countries are the pioneers in breeding for health,
and they have been doing it since the 80's.
Innovation is the engine for growth in Arla. They create new products that delight consumers and help them live a balanced, healthier life. At Arla, the R&D teams push the boundaries of science and technology to build a bright future for dairy, and food for everyone.
