Be introduced to the PHD HUB Foulum Program, the organizers behind it and get first hand knowledge on how to stay in Denmark. Network with fellow young scientist and find out if it is for you to join the program or part of it. 

The PHD HUB Foulum program is a series of seminars focusing on bridging the gap between young scientists and local business related to the bioeconony and food sectors. It is to show by example how Agro Business Park (ABP) and Viborg Business Development Center (VER) can help in this matter and further be at your assistance. The main activity is company visits organized once a month. Among companies to visit is Grundfos, Samson Agro, Viking Genetics Hedeselskabet and many more. The program is targeted foreign Ph.d. students especially at AU Foulum but other students from other organisations and geographic areas are welcome.  

The program is kicked off by this first seminar 7th February 10-12 in Agro Business Park with the following agenda:

09.30 - 10.00 Coffee and networking (optional)

10.00 - 10.30 Introduction to partner behind and the concept of PHD Foulum by Jacob Mogensen, Site Manager ABP and Ian Norman, Consultant, VER

10.30- 10.50  Start up Denmark and other visa schemes to stay in Denmark by Camilla Benedicte Lund, Ministry of Immigration, Integration and Housing

10.50 - 11.10 Your local support, XX (tbc),  Jobcentre Viborg

11.10 - 11.30 Fieldsense and the story behind it, by CEO, John Smedegaard

11.30 - 11.50 From Sciencist to employee at Genoskan/Eruofins,  (Tbc),  Genoskan

11.50 - 12.00 Questions and open dialogue

12.00 -     Sandwiches and networking (Optional)
